We are proud to be recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. Our ponds (see Pollywogg Hollër Map) are spring-fed and stocked so our overnight guests may enjoy fishing or have a seat on the front porch of the Main Lodge and see how many species they can check off the Bird Watch List:

Each season has its own special attraction in Allegany County, NY. With over 25 miles of trails adjacent to our property, you will have access to cross country skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, hiking and biking. Less than a mile up the road is Palmer's Pond State Forest Recreation area. See Phillips Creek State Forest Map for detailed trail information.

Just a short 6 mile drive to town you will find the closest amenities such as gas station, ATM machine and pharmacy. While in Alfred, NY visit the world-renowned New York State College of Ceramics, which houses the International Ceramic Museum. On Saturday's visit the Farmer's Market or stroll the historic streets of Angelica, NY, lined with antiques and artisans shops.
